The Leadership Development team in Cenovus Human Resources has an exciting 12-month contract opportunity for an experienced HR / Organizational Development professional. The successful candidate will be accountable to work with OD colleagues, the Human Resources community, business units and employees to assess learning needs, develop leadership programs that align with our business strategy, and support leaders in managing performance and developing their employees.
Responsibilities:
• participate in the design, development and implementation of competency based leadership development programs that support company-wide initiatives, integrate well with other HR programs and/or target specific business needs
• develop resources to support HR, leaders and employees in areas of development and performance management
• evaluate programs and learning activities to ensure they meet objectives - analyze program effectiveness; recommend and implement enhancements and work to overcome barriers
learning through proactive individual and collaborative action
• support change management initiatives related to performance management and development as our integrated talent management system is implemented
Qualifications:
• must be legally entitled to work in Canada
• 5 - 10 years’ experience in a consultative HR role
• university degree preferred
• CTP or CTDP designation is an asset
• excellent verbal and written communication skills
• demonstrated facilitation skills
• project Management and organizational skills
• program assessment capabilities
• can handle multiple tasks, set and shift priorities to meet deadlines
