About this Job Baker Hughes is currently seeking a Billing Specialist for the Drilling Services Product Line in Oklahoma City, OK. Key Responsibilities
Monitoring and reconciling job tickets to field job data, maintaining SAP job data and preparing and entering customer invoices accurately and efficiently into systems, under direct supervision.
Verifying information, maintaining files and assisting with preparation of various reports.
Communicating with both internal and external customers effectively and professionally.
Performing other duties and projects as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent education
Understanding of basic accounting principles.
Self-motivated and detailed oriented with good communication and analytical skills.
Must have a strong commitment to customer service and ability to work well in a deadline firm, team-oriented environment.
Ability to organize and prioritize work.
Preferred Qualifications/Requirements
Associate's Degree preferred.
1+ year of accounting/billing experience desired, but not required.
Demonstrated ability to work in an unstructured, fast-paced environment where responsibilities frequently change.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Experience with SAP is a plus.
Good knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint preferred.
Knowledge of EDI invoice processing is a plus.
Other Details
Position may require overtime to meet company deadlines when necessary (may include working weekends and holidays if needed).
Must be capable of traveling 5% for training and annual meetings to Houston, TX.
