OIL FIELD DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Head of Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR)
Degree in Petroleum Engineering or acceptable equivalent, advanced degree preferred, with minimum of 16 years experience in reservoir engineering activity emphasizing large/ giant carbonate reservoirs. Minimum of 10 years direct technical experience in EOR and subsurface field development, with minimum of 5 years direct supervisory experience.
Head of Surveillance
Degree in Petroleum Engineering or acceptable equivalent with minimum of 15 years experience in reservoir engineering activities emphasizing large carbonate reservoirs.
Senior Geologist
B.Sc. in Geology with minimum of 1 5 years work experience as Geologist. Must have undertaken field and reservoir studies and be able to integrate geologic, well and geophysical data.
Senior Petroleum Engineer
B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering or acceptable equivalent with minimum of 15 years work experience as a Petroleum Engineer in the oil and gas industry with demonstrated Surveillance / Production Engineering expertise in optimizing well production in large oil and gas fields.
Senior Petrophysicist
B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering or acceptable equivalent or Geology with minimum of 15 years experience in the oil and gas industry, with at least 10 years experience doing petrophysical studies / operations. Must have a thorough understanding of open hole (both wireline and LWD), cased hole and production logging tools, NMR and integrated production logging in wells
Senior Reservoir Engineer
Degree in Petroleum Engineering or acceptable equivalent with minimum of 15 years experience in reservoir engineering activities emphasizing large carbonate reservoirs.
Reservoir Engineer
Degree in Petroleum Engineering or acceptable equivalent with minimum of 10 years experience in reservoir activities emphasizing large, multi-well and reservoirs
Petroleum Engineer
Degree in Petroleum Engineering or acceptable equivalent with minimum of 10 years experience as a Petroleum Engineer in the oil and gas industry with demonstrated Surveillance I Production Engineering expertise in optimizing well production in large oil and gas fields.
Geologist
B.Sc. in Geology with advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years work experience as Geologist. Must have undertaken field and reservoir studies and worked closely with ‘Geophysicists, Petrophysicists and Reservoir Engineers.

* Basic Function and Scope :

Requirements:

* 10 years experience in preparation of tenders, Contract and contract administration, particularly in relation to services within the oil and gas industry.
* Should have good Technical knowledge in reviewing and finalising various technical Contracts.
* Good knowledge in legal practices, Contract laws and industry practices.
* Good computer literacy in microsoft office softwares and SAP ESM modules.
* High proficiency in Written and Spoken English.

Market Research Analyst
The Planning and Energy Policy Directorate of Qatar Petroleum is responsible for the development and implementation of energy industry strategy both for Qatar Petroleum and the State of Qatar as well as leading the investigation and development of “new energy” businesses.
The primary function of the Market Research Analyst is to supply Qatar Petroleum with information regarding the external market environment to support strategic decision making. Who we’re looking for

• Likely to have considerable experience in the field of macroeconomics and energy economics (but might be less if the candidates has a combination of industry and senior level experience that is exceptionally well matched to the position requirements).
• Ability to recognize external issues of importance, qualifying and quantifying the possible corporate effect where possible.
• Comprehensive, in-depth knowledge of business decision making processes, and macroeconomic influences on corporate business decisions.
• High skills in drafting reports and analysis of current issues.
• High presentation skills (Board level contacts), communication skills, and consensus building abilities.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical and computer modelling skills. Strong knowledge of econometric and computerised data manipulations and experience in constructing, maintaining, and interpreting economic models.
