We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the following positions on our OFFSHORE DRILLING RIGS:
RIG ELECTRICIAN: Requires 4+ years industrial electrical experience with offshore electrical experience preferred; experience in 3-phase power generation, AC/DC drives, strong maintenance and troubleshooting, with air conditioning experience considered a plus.
ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN: Requires 2+ years industrial Electronic Technician experience; offshore experience preferred; be able to provide training certificate from a recognized technical program; be knowledgeable in the running of various test equipment; and a complete understanding of PLC controls and automation preferred.
SUBSEA SPECIALIST: The Subsea Specialist is a hands-on position based on an offshore drilling rig. Responsibilities include performing the proper maintenance, monitoring, and operation of the subsea systems and equipment onboard the rig.
Qualifications: to qualify for the Subsea Specialist position you must possess the following: 2+ years of total Subsea experience; ability to operate a 4th, 5th, or 6th generation rig with little to no assistance. Proficient with Conventional Hydraulic/Hydraulic systems and/or MUX Electric/Hydraulic systems. Efficient in conducting day to day operations on the rig. Possess a full understanding and working knowledge of BOP's, Tensioners, and all other relevant equipment. Ability to manage and control equipment inventory. Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
Other job functions include: familiarity with all company safety policies and procedures; participation in onboard safety meetings, drills, and onboard training.
SUBSEA RISER COORDINATOR: Monitor and track all riser for GOM and International rigs. Maintain and organize certification for riser. Coordinate jobs between docks, rigs, Rig Managers and Subsea Supervisors. Visit docks to check on riser and/or supervise loading and unloading. Will be on call for subsea shop callouts once a month.
Qualifications: Must have high school diploma/GED; knowledge of the different types of riser in the fleet; computer literate (Word, Excel, Database Applications). Must be self motivated; able to deal with and solve problems simultaneously; ability to retrieve industry standards of riser. Must be able to interact with various departments within the company. Knowledge of the working aspect of riser repairs and inspection criteria desired. Must be legally entitled to work in the United States.
DUAL ACTIVITY DRILLING SUPERINTENDENT: Responsibilities include providing technical and operational advice to drilling unit personnel. Work closely with operations management team to develop, write and implement plans and procedures for dual activity operations.
Qualifications: Strong communication and organizational skills are required. Requirements include 5+ years of experience as a Rig Superintendent with 2+ years of experience with dual activity dynamically positioned offshore drilling rigs; College degree considered a plus.
MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR - SUBSEA: Participates in an on call rotation for the Subsea Department. Provides quotes for AFE's on assigned rigs. Performs data input for the PM program. Provides direction and planning for the EOW PM Program. Reviews the subsea PM records submitted by rigs and provides updates to the Subsea Superintendent. Provides assistance with writing and revising equipment procedures including maintenance, repair, operation and storage. Provides technical assistance to rig personnel. Provides assistance in the training of subsea personnel. Performs rig audits and surveys. Provides assistance for Domestic and International Operations. Provides assistance with auditing and quality control at vendor locations. Provides assistance with budgetary proposals & quotations for subsea equipment.
Qualifications: Must have high school diploma/GED. Minimum 4 years experience as a subsea specialist or equivalent. Must have working experience with Cameron, Hydril, Shaffer & Koomy control systems, BOP's and related well control equipment. Must be a team player. Good organizational skills. Must have knowledge of the Orion program. Must be willing to relocate to the Houston office. Must be legally entitled to work in the United States.
