HSE Specialist Job - United States

The HSE specialist is responsible for regulatory compliance and Baker Hughes HSE&S standards.  The HSE Specialist serves is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Baker Hughes HSE&S Management System.  The HSE Specialist coordinates for the site both local and corporate initiatives.The HSE Specialist will play a key role in assisting plant management in auditing health, safety, and environmental programs and ensuring sustainability of the safety culture.This facility is a key hub for pressure pumping leadership, product line engineering, laboratory R&D.  The HSE Specialist plays a vital role in the environmental reporting, laboratory chemical hygiene, emergency response, risk assessments, contractor safety incident investigations, site physical safety and HSE training.

Essential qualifications/requirements
•      Associates degree and 5-6 years experience,
•      Bachelor’s degree preferred and 3-6 years experience.
•      Associate level HSE Certification preferred
•      Bachelor’s degree preferred and 5+ year’s experience.
•       Full Certification required for Associate Degree and Associate Certification preferred for Bachelor’s Degree Preferred qualifications/requirements
•      Certified Safety Professional
•      HSE experience in a heavy manufacturing environment
•      Occupational Safety and Health Administration program experience
•      Environmental Protection  Agency program experience
•      Emergency Preparedness and Response activities experience
