Ably Resources are currently seeking a number of Lead Instrument Designers for long term contract roles in Grangemouth.
We require the ideal candidate to have had experience in engineering design and operation with experience in a lead design role, preferably within the Petrochemical industry.
The candidate must have experience of using AutoCAD, with formal training an advantage.
Typical activities will include site surveys, creation/update of instrument/cable schedules, development of block diagrams, termination drawings, loop drawings and process hook-up drawings. All instrument design will be for hazardous areas.
The chosen candidate will have experience of AutoCAD or PDMS and be able to carry out or lead site surveys when required.

* Male, age 38 – 42 Years Old
* Experience min. 10 – 12 years at project oil and Gas (especially LNG, LPG) EPC company
* Min. S1 min.S1 oil, gas and petrochemical engineering, civil, mechanical engineering / industrial engineering
* Qualification in project management or equivalent for oil and Gas downstream project
* Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
* Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
* Direct work experience in project management capacity
* Proven experience in people management
* Proven experience in strategic planning
* Proven experience in risk management, HSSE management
* Proven experience in change management
* Proficient in project management software

o Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
o Define project tasks and resource requirements
o Develop full scale project plans
o Assemble and coordinate project staff
