Role Summary/Purpose:
The D&S Asia regional leader will coordinate Sales, ITO, and OTR across the Drilling, Downhole Technologies, Pressure Control, and Artifical Lift Platforms for D&S in the ASIA Region. This encompasses China, APAC, and Australia. Total orders targets for 2012 are $430M. This role will be responsible for growing the D&S orders in the region and will demonstrate leadership in managing new accounts penetration.

Essential Responsibilities:    
Responsible for the identification of potential growth markets/segments as well as for the definition and implementation of the relevant growth strategy/initiatives that fits with GE O&G business imperatives and products/services capabilities Responsible to drive and lead D&S transactional and non-transactional growth opportunities in the region In-depth knowledge of Oil & Gas and D&S Markets and Customers Define and implement of Oil& Gas marketing and commercial strategies in order to increase orders volume and profitability Leverage cross-functional and cross-business resources to maximize market penetration Promote leads generation for GE Oil&Gas Establish a systematic business scouting plan with the purpose of identifying new market opportunities Coordinate sales activities ensuring the development of the GE Oil & Gas brand awareness in the market Engage global functions (e.g., Engineering, Marketing IT, Legal, Finance, HR) in developing and implementing robust sales, service, and ITO/OTR processes Coordinate with other regions and GE O&G global account managers to develop customer strategies and develop relationships with multi-regional customers Design and implement metrics for assessing customer satisfaction and lead improvement efforts Implement an effective inventory management and customer demand forecasting process. Coordinate with Global Supply Chain to regularly update and manage requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business from an accredited university or college , or a GED/HS Diploma and 8 years commercial experience in sales or service roles. At least 10 years D&S product experience At least 7 years of commercial operations or marketing or sales experience At least 5 years experience managing direct reports Ability to travel 40% of the time
