Duties will include but not limited to:
Wellsite reporting of all geological derived drilling data and geological formation tops and hydrocarbons encountered;
Daily reporting of drilling operations;
Supervision of Mudlogging services, including carbonate and clastic formation identification and Formation Evaluation Log;
Picking of critical casing points and reservoir core points. Assurance of correct well trajectory and landing point for horizontal reservoir targets;
Wellsite supervision of Coring services operations, including reservoir core recovery, rock/plug sampling, core preservation;
Presentation of geological information at well pre-spud and well planning meetings;
Senior Wellsite Geologist required for 12 month renewable contract in the Middle East.
You will be qualified to a minimum of B.Sc. in Geology or similar Engineering discipline and have experience which includes QC & QA of wireline logging and logging/measurement while drilling.
Ideally you will also have deep gas or HPHT drilling experience at supervisory level.
