THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a major international oil Company to provide a Mechanical Engineer to be based in Italy. Contract duration 12 months (renewable). Attractive daily rate. Good long-term prospects, internationally competitive rate / T&Cs.ght1
THE PERSON
Minimum 3 Project Life Cycles and the ability to demonstrate relevant experience including at least 2 of the Project Life Cycles having advised on issues in the field (preferably oil and gas or chemical or energy plant). The ability to review all maintenance strategies and plans for rotating equipment and packages, auxiliary systems, manual valves and piping based on rules and standards. Review maintenance manuals issued by contractor. Provide support to spare parts coordinator for spare parts and specific tools selection.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Candidates will be degree qualified preferably in Mechanical Engineering. They must also be able to influence HSE training. Have a respect of the environment (12686) First aid induction, fire fighting induction (10794), defensive driving, understanding HAZOP methods (4499), safety engineering (11753). Excellent communication skills, including fluent written and spoken English and French, with an understanding of Italian. Must be eligible to currently reside and work in the EU.
