About Our Client

Our client is a well established MNC and global leader in the oilfield equipment and services industry.


Job description

The Logistics Manager is responsible for managing logistics, materials handling and customs activities and ensuring timely, cost effective delivery of goods.



-Leads, directs, trains and manages a warehouse team.


-Complies with all applicable laws and policies on Trade Compliance and Control, HSE and Contractor Management.


-Implements processes and systems in view of efficient operations.


-Manages relevant expenses up to a specified dollar amount as per the Authority limits policy.


-Interacts with internal and external customers to implement optimal inventory levels to balance high customer service levels, versus the inventory cost to the company.


-Responsible for safe and secure storage of inventory.


-Accountable for inventory cycle counts results.


-Responsible for delivering a top performing workforce.


-Identifies opportunities and implements actions to continually reduce wasted time, money and resources from assigned tasks.


-Ensures material/equipment receipt, storage, issuance, return & disposal is performed in a compliant and timely manner.


-Maintains timely input to Warehouse Management System and ensure accurate stock transaction records.


-Ensures compliance with established procedures and Company Standards to maintain effective control over the physical product flow and storage for the warehouse and other


inventory areas.


-Communicates with management on occurrences of warehousing failures (eg. Picking error,


Damaged or Lost goods) and participate in investigations and actions to prevent


reoccurrence.


-May be assigned other duties, in addition to, or in lieu of those described above,


according to the needs of the location or Company.








The Successful Applicant





-Bachelor or Master (preferred) in Supply Chain, Finance or Manufacturing


-Minimum 5 years of experience in Logistics, Distribution or Supply Chain.


-Familiar in the use of Warehouse Management System applications and reporting tools.


-An ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels of the organization with operations,


finance, supply chain and manufacturing.


-Strong understanding of the impact of inventory transactions to the company financial


statements.


-Commitment to continuous improvement and comfortable performing in an evolving work


environment.


-Good Interpersonal skills including; High collaboration with others; Managing Change;


Negotiating; Communication.
